Today, SearchTalent opens to everyone.

The platform started with a simple observation. A professional's best work is almost always scattered: some of it lives on GitHub, some on a personal site, some in old posts you can no longer find. A résumé, meanwhile, tells you where someone worked but says little about how they work or what they can actually do. The context gets lost between tabs.

We wanted to gather that context in one place. Not another job board and not a directory of impressive titles, but a community where you can open a profile and go straight to the work itself, rather than to a list of past employers.

SearchTalent is a place where the work comes first and the job title comes second.

What you can do today

At launch, you can build a detailed SearchTalent profile in Ukrainian and English — experience, skills, education, and contacts. But the heart of a profile is not the form you fill in. It is the work you choose to show.

Publish projects with context. Add the stack, links, screenshots, video, and a clear note about what you actually contributed.
Write articles. Share technical decisions, launch notes, practical guides, or lessons that may save someone else an afternoon.
Discover people by skill. Search and filters take you from a keyword to a profile and the real projects behind it.
Save and support good work. Follow authors, bookmark profiles and projects, and join the conversation around what they publish.

SearchTalent includes ratings and badges, but we do not want either to become a popularity contest. Rankings consider profile depth, project quality, community feedback, and recent activity. "Substance should count for more than the size of your network."

Bilingual by design

SearchTalent has supported Ukrainian and English from day one. You can publish in either language or prepare both versions. For Ukrainian professionals, that means staying visible to the local community and to people beyond it without maintaining two separate portfolios.

A good place to begin

Complete your profile so a stranger can understand what you do in about a minute.
Add one project you genuinely want to talk about. It does not need to be the biggest one; choose the one that best shows your decisions.
Browse the catalogue, find a few people whose work you would like to keep up with, and don't hesitate to leave a reaction or comment.

We are not launching with the idea that the platform is finished. Quite the opposite. The useful part starts now: watching how real people use it, removing what gets in the way, and building what is actually missing.

So come in, put your portfolio together, and show your work without the usual noise. And when something feels awkward, breaks, or clearly ought to be better, send it through the feedback form. We read it.

Good work deserves more than a line on a résumé. It deserves to be seen.
